An Ever Changing Industry
One of the things that we have continuously posted about on
this blog site is the change to the entertainment industry and how those
changes will affect the industry, as we know it. Today we would like to post
about the changes that have occurred through what is now known as the digital
age. The recent documents that we have been coming across are solely about the
changes that are happening aligning the use of cloud-based storage. This new
storage system not only allows you to access files that you have stored across
your various media devices, but also allows you to access the files across any
device that you shall have to use. One of the articles that we have found to
discuss during this post is the fact that the industry executives are trying to
finds different ways to use technology so that it is not as disruptive to the
industry.
Technology has changed the entertainment industry and will
continue to do so in the upcoming years. Those who are behind the camera, where
it used to take three to four men to run the camera it now only takes one man,
can see one of the things that have been noted in the change in entertainment.
This change is due to the increase in the use of HD cameras. With the continued
changes to the entertainment industry people will either adjust to the changes
or create new positions for themselves or they will continue to find themselves
put out of business by the increases in technology.
The industry is changing in such a way that if people don’t
follow along with the changes and continue to make themselves relevant they
will surely be left behind. No longer are people waiting for top television
channels to create new shows, they are now turning to websites such as Netflix.
No longer are people waiting on artist to release albums full of audio, they
are waiting for artist to release albums full of videos for every album, as was
seen with the recent Beyoncé album. The changes to the media and entertainment
industry will continue to happen at a rapid pace. It is just up to those
invested in the industry to try and keep themselves up to date so that they are
not left behind.
